Valler Coffee’s roastery in lincoln, Montana

In the coffee roasting world there are many options to choose from; most of which follow the same format. Just go to any roaster's web page or coffee shop and you will see many roasts and blends of coffees from all over the world. All marching to the same drum in their roasting style with computerized profiling and infrared roasting machines. They will most likely have many roasts, many profiles from light to dark, and many blends. You won't find us marching to that drummer. At Valler Coffee we reach back into the traditions of coffee roasting and look at how to better roast your daily beans in the old school ways. Not with the latest technologies in roasting so we can streamline costs and time for profit. You see, for Valler Coffee our driving purpose is what's in your cup. Just a few of our parameters and focus points are; taste, quality, health, bold, smooth, deep, dark, full. These are the standards to which we strictly adhere.

Our roasts are all organic, fair trade, single origin, high grown, and high roasted. The beans we purchase are in the top 5% quality standard of the world's inventory of coffee beans. We roast our coffee with flame and drum roasting. Roasting is accomplished by a flame which heats a stainless steel drum to create an even temperature and cast iron framework which keeps the heat steady and strong during the roasting process.

True coffee connoisseurs know that friends don't let friends drink blends. With Valler Coffee you know exactly what region the beans came from and we have traceability right to the farm and the farmers to prove it.

We specialize in dark roasts. You won't find a light roast at Valler Coffee. We love the flavor of a dark rich cup of coffee early in the morning. And another just before turning in at night. Which we can do because our dark roasts naturally have less caffeine due to the length of our roasting process.

All of the beans we purchase are high grown to ensure bold flavors and that the health benefits and trace vitamins and minerals in the beans we roast stay there and get to your body. And at a 5,000 feet altitude here at the roastery the atmosphere retains the smoothness of our roasts keeping the traditional "bite" of a dark roasted coffee out of our beans.

All of this is what makes our coffee a wonderful unsurpassed quality product that you'll be hard pressed to match.

All of that said we would love to be with you in your day to develop something different, to create something that keeps you smiling over and over again looking for a new taste, and a new adventure.

So I ask you, what's in your cup? - Jason Valler, owner, operator, and head roaster Valler Coffee

Oh yeah, one more thing…

Besides roasting the best dark roast, single origin coffees in Montana, Valler Coffee is all about getting people outside, onto the rivers, into the mountains. With coffee, fresh air and adventure, life is good. And that's what we are all about.

We want you to have, "An Adventure in Every Bag". That means we want to equip you to go out and seize the day in the outdoors. That is why Valler Coffee includes a fly on each bag of our specialty coffee bags we sell. Now, just like our coffee beans we demand the best and that's why Valler Coffee has joined up with Montana Fly Company to supply Montana made flies to our coffee and adventure connoisseurs.
